Technical Architect (Contract)
Location: Amsterdam Country: Netherlands Rate: competitive
Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Technical Architect with experience in Microsoft tech-stack based in the Netherlands for a long-term contract opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design of complex, scalable, and high-performance systems using Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop architectural blueprints, frameworks, and guidelines to support the implementation of IT solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project life cycle.
- Conduct architectural reviews and audits to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with architectural decisions.
- Stay current with the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and incorporate them into architectural strategies.
- Mentor and train junior architects and developers to build a strong technical team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Technical Architect with a focus on Microsoft tech-stacks.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud computing, microservices architecture, and containerization (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications.
- Experience with Front End technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and tools (eg, Service Bus, Logic Apps).
- Familiarity with data warehousing, BI tools, and Big Data technologies.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
