Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead data engineering projects and design tailored data solutions
• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain high-level solutions
• Ensure data is prepared and usable for analysis and machine learning applications
• Stay updated with the latest techniques and tools in the industry
• Act as a consultant on external projects, driving business value through data solutions
• Mentor and guide junior and medior data engineers
• Contribute to internal initiatives and the expertise centre focused on Data Platforms
• Present use cases internally and externally, and provide training

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Proven experience as a Data engineer
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, Cloud Solution Design, and Data Platforms
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and DBT
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and demonstrate leadership
• Adaptability to new technologies and environments
