Powershell Developer (Medior/Senior) (Contract)
Location: Amsterdam Country: Netherlands Rate: competitive
 

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Powershell Developer to join a long-term contract position in the Netherlands!

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and processes.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Maintain and update existing PowerShell scripts to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Create detailed documentation for developed scripts and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerShell scripts and automation.
  • Monitor and optimize script performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members on PowerShell Scripting.
  • Stay updated with the latest PowerShell and automation technologies and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in script development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing PowerShell scripts.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and related technologies.
  • Experience with other Scripting languages (eg, Python, Bash) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure) and their automation tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
