Senior PHP Developer - E-commerce - Ireland - 15-month contract

To be a successful PHP Developer within this organisation you're expected to be fully autonomous, have strong communication skills, and be excellent with problem-solving.

Other requirements include:

• Strong Back End coding experience and PHP syntax knowledge
• Demonstrate a firm understanding of Back End payment flow (there will be a lot of testing and code reference checks)
• Ability to navigate large databases and problem-solve/dig through classes of complex, unclear code.
• Experience in contributing towards architecting solutions or new features of a system in the Back End.
• Ability to implement automated testing and participate in code reviews.
• Experience in ensuring application performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead and contribute high-quality solutions whilst mentoring junior team members.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of the client's web stack, predominantly using PHP, working with high-quality tools , and digging into data analysis with MySQL. Your responsibilities will include strategic thinking about the client's payments ecosystem, payments processors, database sharding, replication,

performance optimisation, system stability, metric tracking, integration resiliency, and more.

This Senior PHP developer will be Irelan-based and be able to attend the office 1-2 days a week in a brand-new Dublin office.
