Program Manager - High-Frequency Trading, Data, Financial Services, Real-Time, Trading

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager - High-Frequency Data to join our clients team on site at a financial servcies clien in the London or New York. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of high -frequency data-driven projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of project goals while managing risks and stakeholder expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of high-frequency data projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with technical teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize project performance.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating open communication and prompt issue resolution.
• Monitor project progress through the use of KPIs and metrics, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform project strategy and execution.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Program Manager in data-driven or technology-focused projects, preferably within high-frequency trading or the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and experience working with large-scale data systems.
• Exceptional project management skills with proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of the trading landscape is a plus.
• Relevant project management certification (eg, PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
