Infrastructure Project Manager - Investment Banking - Project Delivery - Tech team - Sigma/PMI
Key Responsibilities:
- Support for End to End Technology for programs and projects.
- Performs project management responsibilities relating to Information Technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery.
- Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects.
- Manages multiple projects or a single major project.
- Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- Formal full end-to-end project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery is essential.
- A background in software project development is desirable.
- Strong project management skills, a proven ability to deliver high-quality technical software development projects on time and within budget, including development of an overall project plan and management of issues/risks and watch items.
- Produce regular, thorough and accurate project status reports written at the appropriate target audience - from technical project team members to Senior Management.
- Participate in meetings with Senior Management and provide appropriate input and feedback.
- Close liaison with change management, the business community, technical groups within the business's globally and external vendors.
- An excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (most especially PROJECT, EXCEL and OUTLOOK skills are essential).
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint would be beneficial.
- Project Management Professional (APM, PMI) or equivalent certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification will be an advantage.
