Lead Environment Delivery Manager (Contract)

Location: Glasgow Country: UK Rate: £350 - £375 Daily (Inside IR-35)
 

Lead Environment Delivery Manager will be a key part of a Route to Live (RtL) team, supporting the VM's non-production Data Platforms And s/he will be working closely with both internal colleagues and external 3rd parties, drive and deliver industry best practices, tools and technologies suited for business needs.

As a part of RTL team responsible for supporting these services, this role will ensure that environments are available; coordinating the resolution of incidents & problems as they arise and also proactively administrating and monitoring designated environments to ensure availability. Project changes are also part of the remit where the Environment Manager is responsible for managing change through test environments, ensuring that changes are controlled effectively and delivered safely in accordance with change management policy

The main elements of accountabilities for this role are in the following areas:

  • Improving processes through innovation and continuous improvement through resources and tools provided
  • Collaborating with internal and external parties in order to provide excellent customer service
  • Working alongside project teams to ensure solutions meet the VM's strategic needs through consistent technical input and activities to meet business requirements and deadlines
  • Supporting test execution through the proactive identification of risk and swift resolution of issues through management of mailboxes and ITSM attendance at service review meetings

2 days on site per week in Glasgow
