QA Automation (Java/Kotlin) - Up to £60,000 + 2 Days onsite per week (London)
Our client, a fast-growing FinTech firm in investment management and financial advisory, is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and passionate QA Automation Engineer to join their team. You will be essential in enhancing software and the development of automation to optimize testing within microservice architecture.
This person will be focus on creating manual test written in Java/Kotlin as well as minimizing manual checks by creating automated tests, boosting the reliability and performance of the systems.
Requirements:
- +4 years' experience as a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Java or Kotlin programming languages.
- Industry experience of working in Financial services or Fintech.
- Proven experience testing API/Microservices.
- Tracked record of creating manual tests written in Java or Kotlin, as well as automating tests using tools such as Cypress, Selenium (Selenide) or Playwrite.
- Preferable if experienced in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid grasp of web architecture and its functioning.
Responsibilities:
- Play a significant role in expanding automated test codebases while aiming to reduce the reliance on manual testing.
- Assist other QA engineers in the automation process.
- Plan, design, and execute QA tasks according to agreed timelines.
- Work with the Product Manager, developers, and QA Engineers from other squads to clarify requirements, with a particular focus on testability, consistency, and completeness, as well as streamlining existing business processes.
