Salary: National - ranging from £49,700 - £78,700 and London from £53,300 - £80,000 per annum

The team/department

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ServiceNow Senior CMDB Analyst/Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the organization to implement and optimize CMDB processes, ensuring efficient IT service delivery and operational excellence.

As a successful ServiceNow Senior Administrator(CMDB), you will be working within the ERP Product Group DevOps team within our Data Tech & Innovation division. Collaborating with the ERP Product Group and key business owners and SMEs, you will play the role of senior administrator in a team delivering improvements to our existing ServiceNow instance and Business as Usual operations. Additionally, the identification of new opportunities for leveraging the functionality offered in the latest versions of ServiceNow.

What you will be doing (the role)

Take part in the development work and operations of the ServiceNow team at FCA to deliver enhancements, projects, and day to day maintenance of CMDB

Work alongside the CMDB lead and ServiceNow product Owner to implement and maintain best practices for data governance, quality, and consistency

Stand up and maintain integrations and data sources following best practices and adhering to subscription levels

Act as the SME in ServiceNow discovery setting up IRE rules, data policies, mid server configuration and maintenance etc

Work effectively with IT teams, business units, and other stakeholders

Work collaboratively with the team following the Agile methodology and help the product owner to deliver the road map

The skills and experience you will have

Minimum

Exposure with working as a ServiceNow CMDB administrator
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
ITIL V3/V4 Foundation accreditation

Essential

Experience with ITSM processes including CMDB and frameworks (eg, ITIL)
Exposure with data governance and quality management practices
Knowledge of Performance Analytics
Involvement in ITOM Discovery Configuration
Experience in working as a CMDB Analyst
Good understanding of OOTB capabilities of ServiceNow and a hunger to keep yourself up to date with the developments in the ServiceNow world
You should be able to identify and implement the right solution utilising your knowledge of the capabilities of the platform
Ability to forge and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
