Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Cheshire/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Salary/Rate: Up to £374 per day INSIDE IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Java Developer to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Build Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
2. Contributing in all phases of the development life cycle
3. Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
4. Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
5. Managing Java and Java EE application development
6. Ensuring designs comply with specifications
7. Preparing and producing releases of software components

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Strong experience in Java 8 and above with proven background in Spring, Spring Boot, Restful services, object orientation and design patterns
2. Good Knowledge of cloud platforms and using continuous integration
