Job Title: Senior Cyber Risk Analyst

Location: Hybrid/Warwick - 2 days in office per week

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year

About Our Client:

Our client, a leading organisation in the utilities industry, is seeking two talented and motivated Cyber Risk Analysts to join their team in Warwick. As a Cyber Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and resilient operation of our client's critical systems. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with a team of experts in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead cyber security risk analysis initiatives within our client's organisation, ensuring the resilient and secure operation of critical systems.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary cooperation to conduct comprehensive risk assessments for our Energy Transmission network and its vital Network and Information Systems (NIS).
  • Methodically evaluate and validate control process effectiveness based on recognised frameworks such as NIST CSF, identifying areas for enhancement to bolster our cyber security posture.
  • Forge strong partnerships with stakeholders across Energy Transmission and global risk management teams to craft bespoke risk mitigation strategies tailored to our specific challenges.
  • Facilitate compliance with regulatory mandates such as OFGEM reporting and NIS Regulations while actively participating in the development of cyber security policies.
  • Provide insightful risk analysis and communication to support informed decision-making across the business.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to investigate and address identified cyber risks promptly and effectively.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operational technology (OT) and risk management methodologies.
  • Previous experience in the Cybersecurity or Utilities sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN, CRISC, FAIR, NIS-R, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ICS, SCADA, and risk assessment methodologies is preferred.
  • Technical expertise in Active Directory, network infrastructure, Windows Server, and relevant cybersecurity tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Office365 suite, including Excel and SharePoint, along with data visualisation tools like Power BI and Visio, is beneficial.

Desirable Skills:

  • Possess relevant security risk certifications (eg, CRISC, FAIR) and information security credentials (eg, CISSP, CISM, CISA).
  • Hold a degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Network and Information Systems Regulations (NIS-R) and international standards such as IEC62443 and IEC62351.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance is essential.
