Programme Manager - hybrid london - 12mths - c606 pday inIR35 (Contract)

Location: Hybrid/London Country: UK Rate: c606 pday inside IR35
 

Programme Manager (Finance Systems) - 12 months - London Hybrid - c606 inIR35)

The role will be hybrid with visits to the London office when required.

Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks. This includes security vetting to Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level

You will have a successful track record of managing and delivering cloud based financial management solutions within large or complex organisations.

Our government client is looking for a Programme Manager with experience and a strong track record of leading strategic change through the digitally enabled transformation of financial services within a complex and diverse public-sector organisation.

You will be responsible for enabling successful delivery and ensuring the desired outcomes and objectives are achievable. This is a complex programme, requiring engagement and management of stakeholders at all levels

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Establishing and leading the delivery of a transformational, digital programme including the outcomes, timescales, costs, and team.

Taking direction from the Programme SRO, with responsibility (on their behalf) for delivery and management of the programme

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager and Director of Planning Delivery, providing assurance on the effectiveness and efficiency of the programme.

Working with senior stakeholders to secure support, leadership, and resources, to ensure delivery of benefits and develop a robust benefit realisation plan with clear ownership.

Ensuring that a clear and robust change management strategy and plan are in place and deeply Embedded within delivery plans.

Ensuring that the management of all programme activity complies with the necessary standards and controls

Leading, motivating and developing a large diverse team, including defining the size and structure of the team

Essential experience:

Experience of successfully leading and delivering significant or complex transformation programmes through their life cycle.

Good understanding of modern, agile project, programme and portfolio methodologies and experience in their use.

Good understanding and experience of public sector procurement and working with third party suppliers.

The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, remain adaptable and be comfortable working in areas of significant ambiguity.
