Senior C++ Developer - Quant, Low Latency, Fully Remote, £140k+

Exciting career opportunity available for a experienced Senior C++ developers to join our clients dynamic Front Office development team. They are working on a greenfield project to build their next generation trading platform and need prolific C++ Developers with expert experience of writing low latency, high throughput C++ code on mission critical systems, ideally trading infrastructure platforms.

You will be working with the portfolio managers in creating best practice processes to implement new trading systems and adapting/migrating over the clients existing trading platform systems.

Suited candidates will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable working with executive level staff.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working a similar role for a large Financial Services organisation working on their trading systems. You are likely to be keen to use your lesson learnt over the years in a new environment whereby you get the autonomy to build a world-class system through your code produced.

Key Skills an experience:

A minimum of 5 years of writing high performance C++

Modern C++ knowledge (C++17/20, etc)

C++ template meta programming knowledge

Possess in-depth knowledge of network programming and distributed computing

Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux fundamentals

Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

Finance experience is a plus but not essential
