Data Center Technician (Contract)
Location: Zürich Country: Switzerland Rate: market rate
Data Center Technician vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the technology sector.
Your tasks:
- Contributing to the deployment, maintenance, and support of both current and new data center infrastructure
- Assisting in testing and troubleshooting new server hardware components and designs
- Configuring and troubleshooting OS-related challenges on Servers
- Identifying issues, file bugs and tickets, and escalate as necessary
- Ensuring data center security by adhering to established protocols and procedures
- Responding to and resolving technical incidents and service requests in a timely manner
Your experience/knowledge:
- Proven experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting operating system and computer and server hardware
- Strong experience with networking protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues effectively
- Previous experience working within a data center or network operation center environment would be a plus
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
