The Technical Customer Support Rep role serves as the Tier 2 escalation point for Customer Care to solve the most difficult and advanced technical problems for our managed endpoint security service. This position provides 24/7/365 Tier 2 support as part of a Service Center providing Endpoint Security as a Service to the US Army. On-call/Holiday/and weekend work required. Providing a positive customer experience through great communication and follow through is a high priority for this position.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Provide Tier 2 escalation expertise for client issues and other staff. Exercise strong judgment to determine the appropriate course of action and follow issues to resolution.

. Receive, resolve, escalate, issue service tickets using ITSM.

. Familiarity with server administration including user and permission management and basic troubleshooting. Monitor system resources, logs, event alerts for system performance and

. Contribute to a customer-focused environment by providing consistent, clear & timely communication to team members and clients on issue status and action plans.

. Strong organizational skills with the ability to provide remote support with little to no supervision.

. Facilitate a minimum of 1 formal trainings per year.

. Maintain, create and improve knowledge base documents for essential business technologies.

. Act as a role model and mentor to further promote the skills of team members.

. Contribute to information sharing and team-based resolution activity via daily huddles and team meetings.

. Perform systems administration for the McAfee Host Based Security system, including ePO, VSE, PA, HIPS, DCM, APS, RSD.

. Train on and become SME on advance cyber defense capabilities such as McAfee Advance Threat Defense, ENS 10.x, Enterprise Security Manager, Tychon, DXL, Threat Information Exchange.

. Provide assistance to identify and troubleshoot servers, virtual machines, Windows Server, SQL services, and network related problems.

. Interface and represent the company in a professional and positive manner via email, phone and/or face-to-face interactions with clients.

. Maintain an expert level of knowledge in multiple technologies.

. Maintain departmental service levels, ticketing system notes, and time entries according to written procedures.

. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

. This position requires at least 4 years' experience in systems deployment and troubleshooting in both simple and complex networks.

. Expert knowledge and experience in deployment and troubleshooting of multiple technologies and/or vendors is a must.

. A bachelor's degree or technical degree is desired but not required.

. Required Certifications: IA Certification IAT II IAW DOD 8470.01 (Sec+ CE, CCNA-Security, or equivalent)

. SECURITY CLEARANCE: Minimum SECRET with SSBI submitted (IT Level 1). TS/SCI preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Expert knowledge is required in at least 2 of the following types of technologies:

. Host Based Security system, including ePO, VSE, PA, HIPS, DCM, APS, RSD.

. Brocade/Cisco -- routing and security: VLAN, policy based routing, DMZ, encryption, ACL

. Microsoft infrastructure: Backup & Recovery, Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy etc

. Virtual -- VMWare

. SAN - NETAPP

Additional expertise in the following areas is a plus:

. Prior experience with any McAfee technologies such as

. Enterprise Security Manager (ESM)

. Endpoint (ENS 10)

. Network Sensor Platform (NSP)

. Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)

. Web Gateway (MWG)

. Advanced Threat Defense (ATD)

. Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

. Threat Intelligence Exchange (TIE)

. Data Exchange Layer (DXL)

. Software development and/or Scripting expertise

. Citrix, Terminal Server

. PowerShell/scripting

. Mac

. This is a Full Time Position. Part Time (min 20 hrs/week) considered for 2nd, 3rd shift, weekends.

. Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Weekend/Holidays.
