Business Development Analyst required to join a Global Agile Digital Transformation Consultancy

Overview:

The Business Development Analyst is the keystone to what we do here at Emergn.

We are currently looking to expand our management consulting practice further by growing our teams with extraordinary Business Development Analysts. We are looking for people with an interest in business, innovation and entrepreneurship and a flair for consulting and delivering an excellent experience.

As a Business Development Analyst in Emergn you will become a trusted advisor to FTSE level companies, accelerating your career by building up your skills and capabilities, solving some of the most complex problems and challenges in the industry.

As a Business Development Analyst, after a 2 week onboarding and training programme, you will work directly with the CRO, SVP of Sales Enablement and Principal Consultants. You will attend business development meetings, workshops & conference calls that will be help define Emergn's client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with sales team to understand and capture customer/prospect requirements and produce supporting artifacts.
  • Research target customers and/or sectors and help create business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals and pitches for business.
  • Work collaboratively with internal personnel to devise effective solutions in response to RFPs/tenders.
  • Replying to prospect and customers inquiries and supporting requests for information, where appropriate.
  • Track customer developments and trends to help craft future offerings.
  • Monitors prospect/customer support for solutions proposed throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with other internal functions and act as a bridge between Sales and those functions as required.
  • Support the Senior/Principal Consultant in any pre-sales efforts as directed to produce artifacts, market analysis, etc. which help to qualify and/or progress opportunities in the sales cycle.
  • Develop strong relationships with the client at all levels.

Required skills  

  • You will be a Masters graduate from a Tier 1 business school, with 1-3 years of work experience or equivalent. Experience ideally in a business development capacity.
  • Intellectually curious and ambitious, always willing to learn and continuously improve.
  • You should have a solid analytical skill-set able to articulate complex solutions with simple messages.
  • You'll have the ability to think big and out-of-the-box.
  • Robust verbal, written and presentation skills, with an excellent phone presence.
  • Talented and inspiring communicator with excellent facilitation skills.
  • The role will need to travel extensively, so flexibility to travel is critical.
