Waiver Analyst - Brownsburg, IN
About the Role
Reporting to the Credit and Collections Manager/Supervisor, this position will be responsible for all facets of the Waiver process for Badger Daylighting. The Waiver Analyst is an integral part of the company and will be a part of the Credit and Collections Department. This position will work closely with multiple departments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for executing Conditional/Unconditional Waivers, Payment Applications, and Sworn Statements by investigating Accounts Receivable to validate the pertinent information depicted on these documents .
- Understand s and use s several different Portals for entering and uploading Waiver and Payment Application information.
- M aintain s records to track billings and payments on large projects to ensure overall accuracy is attained .
- Works closely with the contracts department reviewing contractual requirements and ensuring billing requirements are implemented correctly .
- Act s as the Liaison regarding all lien matters; whether filing, executing, or releasing them.
Qualifications
What You'll Need for Success
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 1 - 3 years of similar job-related experience .
- Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting practices .
- Construction accounting experience a plus but not required .
- Current notary a plus but not required .
