Senior Solution Architect

Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with knowledge and experience in Treasury Systems, Regulatory Reporting, supporting Infrastructure and databases to assist in our Finance Portfolio. We are on a journey of modernisation of our financial platforms and this role will be an enabler for this transformational work. Knowledge of general ledger, integration/migration, workday as a supplier/data.

Essential Core Skills

• A good honours degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related STEM subject
• Experienced Solution Architect who has held senior architect roles
• Experience of Regulatory reporting solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in stakeholder management
• Excellent knowledge of integrations, infrastructure and databases (SQL Server/Oracle)
• AWS cloud knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving analytical and communications skills
• Strong background in creating architectural artefacts
• Practical experience in management of projects to be the technical capability of the Scrum Master
• Familiarity with computer networks and IT security management and security role profiling
• Ability to understand and challenge technical designs and configurations

• AWS Certified Solution Architect with experience of building data platforms in the cloud
• Experience of working in a Scaled Agile Framework or similar
• Knowledge of financial systems (Quantum, QRM, Moody's, Bloomberg)
• Microsoft Azure knowledge
• Understanding of best practices for security of data in a cloud environment
• Integration knowledge (API/batch transfer)
• Experience of Microservices based architectures
