Operational Resilience Lead/Manager (Contract)

Contract Operational Resilience Lead/Manager

Duration: 12 Months

IR35 Determination: Outside IR35

Location: Fully remote with occasional travel to client offices as required by the project

To lead and represent the Operational Resilience Team delivering regulatory requirement deliverables via a number of defined workstreams led by the Group Operational Resilience Programme. Understanding how Operational Resilience standards, processes and procedures, defined by the Group Operational Resilience Programme are to be designed and developed then implemented into the group. Accountable for the ongoing maintenance, integration and continuous improvement of Operational Resilience within the domain.

Deliverables:

  • Manage and own multiple workstreams/deliverables implementation including resource planning
  • Act as the Operational Resilience SME representing
  • Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders and the Group Programme Team with common objectives to meet project milestones
  • Report progress at regular intervals to Steering/risk committee and to the Group Operational Resilience Programme
  • Lead on completing and submitting for peer review, programme workstream artefacts
  • Manage stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring efficient communication is achieved
  • Take steer from Group Operational Resilience Programme Manager on design, data analysis and measuring programme outcomes
  • Responsible for the implementation of new processes, methodologies in alignment with regulatory requirements; incl. process mapping, data analysis, reporting metrics, scenario testing, etc.

Experience Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of Operational Resilience good practice, BCM, DR, Change, 3rd Party, Crisis, Incident
  • Systems thinker with strong focus of the right outcomes for our customers and the group
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Extensive experience and in-depth industry knowledge, managing and delivering Operational Resilience/TPRM/Business Continuity regulatory projects in the financial services sector
