We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Service Manager to join one of the UK's best-known and successful brands to help shape and form their IT service strategy.
This opportunity would suit you if you wish to join an organisation who are low to medium maturity from a service perspective and you would enjoy the challenge of helping them mature their approach further.
You will have the ability to utilise your management skills to help lead the service desk and develop your team's skills and capabilities.
You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of the development of a new ITSM implementation and help shape the performance of the tool.
You will have the opportunity to drive forward the business' ITIL framework and improve internal processes instilling your own strategies.
In addition to owning the day-to-day delivery from the service desk team of 15, you will be able to take charge of leading the improvement of service and delivery within a 7,000-employee organisation across 700 sites.
We would like to talk to you if:
- You have proven experience in IT service management, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to internal stakeholders.
- You have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- You have a proven ability to manage service desk teams, including defining and measuring KPI's and SLA's.
- You have knowledge of ITSM Service Desk Tooling.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- You have knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
- You have experience working as an Incident Manager.
