Furthermore, the organisation serves as the "voice of the profession," speaking for professionals with government, the media, the NHS, and other relevant parties.

An opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to join on a contract basis in order to oversee the development and implementation of an enhanced IT, digital, and data strategy for the organisation, after a change in senior leadership.

Under direct supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Programme Manager will handle organisational issues with the goal of raising practise standards, interacting with colleagues, and ensuring that the organisation's IT and digital agenda aligns with overarching goals.

Our ideal candidate would be a Programme Manager with expertise in managing a "traditional organisation through digital and technological transition, and who can effectively engage top clinicians and stakeholders in the transformation process.

The Programme Manager will also need to be able to assemble and lead high-performing programme and project teams, able to deliver both IT and business related change.

It's also crucial to have prior experience managing internal teams and integrating delivery.

Last but not least, the Programme Manager will be in charge of the programme's entire budget and will have to make sure that every project is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with scope and planned functionality.
