We are looking for a highly skilled Data Governance Expert o join our team in Bern. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing a robust data governance framework within our company.

What you'll do (approx. 70% of your time):

• Lead the design and implementation of a data governance framework, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
• Define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures to govern data management practices.
• Establish clear data ownership and accountability through data stewardship programs.
• Manage data governance processes specifically designed for handling personal customer data (AG structure).
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to IT professionals, to gain buy-in and ensure successful adoption of data governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate (or combined team) will possess:

• Extensive experience in data management and data governance methodologies.
• A proven track record of successfully implementing data governance frameworks within organizations with an AG structure.
• Strong experience in managing data governance for personal data (private customer data).
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• Project management experience (Professional or Senior level according to SwissICT) is a plus, but can be covered by a second team member.
