Digital Client Services is responsible to develop and support technical services API's for data integration with various Back End systems in Wealth Management. These API's are developed and hosted on UNIX/LINUX based technology using state of the art technologies.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Digital Client Services, the Programmer Analyst Advisory will work closely with the Solutions Architect(s) and other senior technical members in the team to ensure deliverables are according to specs.

Key responsibilities for this role include requirements analysis, solution detailed design and enhancements, code development, testing, implementation and support in highly collaborative environments.


  • Works closely with the product owner/technical business analyst, solution architect and developers from teams to understand and execute on assignments.
  • Takes responsibility for API design/documentation, code development, testing, implementation and post implementation support with close attention to deadlines.
  • Makes informed technical decisions without much supervision. Makes recommendations to the Solution Architect and the development team.
  • Evaluates and works on issues logs.
  • Provides pager support during/after hours, by rotation with other members from the team.


  • You have at least 6 years of proven J2EE (Java EE 5 and up)/Java system development experience on business critical applications.
  • You have very good working knowledge of application design patterns: Data Integration patterns, J2EE patterns, GoF.
  • You have extensive experience with J2EE application design, development and deployment in JBOSS.
  • You have extensive experience with using Spring Framework utilities, Spring Expression Language, Spring JAX-WS client.
  • You are proficient in working with relationship databases, Sybase in particular.
  • You are versatile in using tools for continuous code development and integration including Eclipse, SOAPUI, SVN, Maven, JIIRA, and Jenkins.
  • You have experience with designing/developing SOAP webservices and REST Services.
  • You are proficient in working with Tomcat Application Server.
  • Nice to have extensive experience designing/developing data integration solutions using J2EE Work Manager.
  • Nice to have an understanding of Security concepts including SSL certificates, encryption, authentication, authorization and audit.
  • Nice to have experience with JBOSS EAP 6.4 deployment and development version and WebSphere Application Server 7+.
  • Nice to have experience with CIAD Deployment pipeline.
  • Nice to have familiarity with financial terminology in the brokerage vertical.


Computer Science Degree.
