Our government client based in the Sydney CBD is looking for a SQL Database Developer to join on a 10-month initial contract (until end of June 2020) with a view to extend.
Key Responsibilities:

Development of high-quality database solutions
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
Research required data
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
Suggest new queries
Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
Provide timely scheduled management reporting
Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements

Role Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis and development
Solid database experience including T-SQL (MSSQL), SSIS.
Strong skills in C# >NET and ASP .NET, or ability to apply knowledge from the similar .NET stack
Knowledge and experience of modern web development and frameworks (eg Angular, React)
Excellent communication and presentation skills (expressing ideas) within the team. need to be able to talk to business SME to understand requirements, develop the requirement, recommend well-thought-out process/system improvements (eg, creating a user interface that would make it easier for the user to access information, automation of reports, etc)
Team player, happy to share knowledge and skills and collaborate with others
Ability to work through problems independently but escalate as needed

Nice to have:

Experience and knowledge in SalesForce integration, or integration experience between SQL databases and other CRMs.
